Pereiaslav

An ancient city in the Kyiv Oblast (region) of Ukraine.
Founded: 907.
Magdeburg rights: 1585.
Population: 26,576 (2021).

Pereiaslav played a significant role in the history of Ukraine, the whole city was declared a historical sanctuary.
With its more than 20 museums, the city is often described as a "living museum", it has been granted the status of a History and Ethnography Reserve (Ukrainian: історико-етнографічний заповідник).

In 1943-2019 the city had the name Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi.

    Very good place! gПритное место. Спокойное, в отличие от аналогичного киевского музея, уютное. Был уже раз пять-шесть и все не надоедает - раз в год туда езжу, отдыхаю душой.
